A Fresh Perspective on Change
Change is often painted as something to fear. We talk about the unknown, the risks, the losses. But what if change was one of the most beautiful gifts we could give ourselves? What if choosing change was an act of courage, self-trust, and faith?
My Story of Letting Go
For years, I poured time and energy into a business in promotional products. It served me well in many ways, and I’m grateful for the lessons it brought. But recently, I felt a stirring — a whisper that this wasn’t where my future was leading me. And here’s the beautiful part: I get to choose to step away. Not because the business failed, not because the door was slammed shut — but because I’ve grown, and my purpose has grown with me.
There’s a freedom in being the one to decide when a chapter is complete. It’s not loss. It’s liberation.
The Power of Choosing Change
When change is forced upon us — a layoff, an illness, a loss — we can feel powerless. But when we choose to embrace change, it shifts from something we endure to something we create. It’s a reminder that we are authors of our encore life. We get to write new beginnings, not just endings.
Why Change is Beautiful
It makes space for what’s next.
It teaches us that identity isn’t tied to one business card, one role, or one season.
It shows us that growth requires release.
It gives us a chance to live more aligned, more vibrant, more fully ourselves.
Closing – The Next Chapter
Walking away from something you built is never easy. But beauty doesn’t always come from what we hold onto — often it comes from what we release. I believe God calls us into new seasons at the right time, and when we trust His timing, the beauty of change reveals itself.
So here I stand, grateful for what was, excited for what’s next, and reminded that the most beautiful changes are the ones we choose with courage and faith.
