If You’re Still Here, You’re Still Called

Somewhere along the way, we were taught that aging meant winding down.
Stepping back.
Handing things off.
Preparing to fade quietly into a life of rest and routine.
But I don’t believe that.
I believe if you’re still here, you’re still called.
The encore years are not an ending.
They are an invitation.
An invitation to stop living on autopilot.
An invitation to steward what God placed in you with intention.
An invitation to finally align your life with who you were created to be.
Encore is not about doing more.
It’s about doing what matters.
Encore Is Not a Retirement Plan — It’s a Calling
God does not keep people on this earth without purpose.
The wisdom, discernment, resilience, and perspective you carry were not gathered accidentally. They were forged through decades of living, loving, losing, building, and becoming.
For many of us, our gifts were used for worldly rewards:
careers
success
provision
responsibility
survival
And there is no shame in that. God honors seasons.
But there comes a time—often in the encore years—when a quieter question rises:
What deserves my gift now?
That question isn’t about achievement. It’s about stewardship.
From Using Your Gift to Stewarding It
Most people don’t struggle because they lack purpose. They struggle because they’ve spent a lifetime using their gift—often without ever naming it.
Encore is the season when God invites us to shift:
from using → stewarding
from striving → aligning
from obligation → calling
Calling isn’t a job title. It’s the God-ordained capacity placed in you at birth—the way you naturally bring order, clarity, healing, wisdom, courage, or calm into the world.
Calling doesn’t disappear with age.
It ripens.
The Three Pillars of the Encore Life
To live your encore years with intention, three things must align. Not in competition—but in service to one another.
Encore Calling
Discerning what deserves your gift now.
Calling comes first. Always.
Before we talk about health.
Before we talk about freedom.
Before we talk about “what’s next.”
Encore Calling asks the most important question of all:
What has God entrusted to me—and what is He asking me to steward in this season?
Identity comes before assignment. When calling is clear, everything else finds its place.
Encore Health
Creating the capacity to live your calling unhindered.
Health is not about chasing youth. It’s about removing obstacles.
Your body is not the enemy of your calling—it’s the vessel for it.
Encore Health focuses on:
calming the nervous system
supporting the gut and immune system
creating rhythms that allow the body to exhale
When the body can exhale, life opens up.
Health is not the goal.Health is the support system for the life you’re still called to live.
Encore Freedom
Removing restrictions so your calling can be fully expressed.
Freedom isn’t excess.It’s flexibility.
Encore Freedom is the ability to say yes to what matters most—without fear, pressure, or unnecessary limitation.
It’s about:
funding your life with integrity
creating margin
choosing alignment over obligation
Freedom exists to serve calling—not replace it.
Why This Order Matters
Health without calling becomes obsession.
Freedom without calling becomes distraction.
But when Calling comes first, everything aligns.
Calling gives direction.
Health gives capacity.
Freedom gives space.
This is how an encore life becomes intentional rather than reactive.
The Encore Invitation
You don’t need to reinvent yourself.
You don’t need to prove your worth.
You don’t need to hustle to stay relevant.
You need space to remember who you were created to be—and the courage to steward it well.
If you’re still here, you’re still called.
And the encore years may be the most faithful season of your life.
