How I Found My Way Back to Believing in Myself (and How You Can Too)

There’s something sacred about hitting a low point—because sometimes that’s where you finally hear the truth you’ve been too busy (or too hurt) to listen to.

I’ve been in a season like that.

A season where I questioned everything—my purpose, my value, my voice.

It didn’t come out of nowhere.

Life has brought me incredible blessings, but it’s also delivered its fair share of pain. Two not-so-great marriages. A corporate executive role I worked hard to earn… only to be fired from it. A slow unraveling of confidence that left me wondering if I was ever as good as I thought I was.

Maybe you’ve been there too.

The voice in your head whispers things like,

“You’re not good enough.”

“You’re not lovable.”

“You don’t have anything to offer.”

And you start to believe it—especially when past pain gets tangled up with present fears.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

Believing in yourself doesn’t come from external validation. It comes from deep, soul-level remembering.

It’s remembering who you’ve been when you were most proud of yourself.

It’s remembering the resilience that got you through the storm.

It’s remembering that the people who took advantage of your giving spirit say more about them than about you.

I’ve come to understand something really important:

I’m a giver. I always have been. And while I will give to the bitter end, I’ve learned that if someone takes advantage of me—that’s not a reflection of my weakness. That’s a reflection of their inability to honor my strength.

Healing took time. Reflection. Prayer. Long walks. Quiet mornings.

I had to gather up the broken pieces and gently put them back together—this time, not into the woman others expected me to be, but into the woman I was created to be.

And here I am.

In a new season.

A season where I get to step fully into that woman.

It’s exciting. It’s terrifying. And it’s exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I believe I’ve been given the desire—and the calling—to help others create an encore life filled with meaning, health, and purpose.

My experiences, my pain, my victories, my talents… they weren’t wasted. They were preparing me.

For this.

For you.

For such a time as this.

So if you’ve been feeling stuck—if your confidence is shaky or your past has been holding your future hostage—let me remind you:

You are not a fraud.

You are not too late.

And you are certainly not done.

The greatest season of your life might just be the one you're standing in—if you’re willing to believe in the woman you’re becoming.

And if you need a hand while you're finding your way back to her…

I'm right here. Judy
